Why does this process work? With a rack of drapes varying in color properties, we are able to see how your complexion changes. These color properties include hue, intensity, and brightness. A key part of this process is maintaining constants; including day light and background. By assessing colors (with varying hues, intensities, and brightness) all at once, we can compare in the same spatial conditions, which colors work best to harmonize your unique features.
What do I gain with this knowledge? Dressing in colors that compliment your complexion, hair, and natural features will likely reduce your want to overcompensate with make-up, spray tans, or additional products. In other words, you make a bigger statement to the world with less effort because you are repeating what your features naturally have. That way when you make decisions to go outside your seasons palette, they will be more intentional and be a bigger statement.

Together we will find repetition in your natural coloring to identify harmony with the colors you wear
STEP 1: Identify the goals for your color analysis. How much value do you place on knowing the “why” behind your colors? Are you interested in evaluating hair color options? How much make-up do you apply now vs how much do you wish you’d apply?
STEP 2: We will look at if you have a cool, neutral, or warm undertone. This is a baseline to identifying which season you could fit into.
STEP 3: Are your features naturally enhanced with light or darker colors? Think pastels vs. deeper dark palette.
STEP 4: What intensity can your features handle? When some people wear bright colors, their features are naturally called out (winters are a great example of this!).
STEP 5: The contrast is a critical part of our analysis because it guides us towards our goal of harmony. We will evaluate contrast drapes in this step to confirm if you are a cool or a warm season and how different colors interact with your natural coloring
STEP 6: As our third check for your color palette, we will evaluate which metals work best for you
STEP 7: We will review all the seasons you could be, and use the information from our above six steps to identify which season and sub season you fit into (we’ll likely know before this stage)
STEP 8: Finding your WOW colors! We’ll look through all 60 drapes to find which colors are your statement ones (including neutrals)
STEP 9: Looking at make-up and hair colors (if interested).
